Miranda Gargasz is a writer from a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. She earned a degree in Elementary Education before becoming a writer. Her essays have appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, The Huffington Post, and on HumorPress.com. In February of 2014, she published her first collection of essays entitled Lemonade and Holy Stuff.  Since publishing her book, she has become a contributor to many popular mom sites. She is a contributing essayist in Only Trollops Shave Above the Knee, Lose the Cape: Never Will I Ever, and Then I Had Kids, and Angel Bumps: Hello from Heaven. In 2016, she published a weight loss memoir entitled Plus Size Mama: an overweight mom gets real about weight loss. More Than A Village: Making a Difference in the Lives of Homeless Dogs was written in 2017 to raise money for her local pound. In 2019, she published two works of fiction–Haunting Suspicion (a mystery about a true crime writer whose house is haunted) and Dragonfly (about learning to cherish what you have before it’s gone). When she isn’t busy writing, she’s trying to keep her two dogs entertained–a hound mix named Shiloh who is so good people forget she’s in the room, and a pit bull/Lab mix named Angus who’s so needy his care should really be a full-time job.
